Problems with this version of CAJUN:
- The first audio device in the config isn't likely to be the default running audio device when you start cajun. Since they all connect via TCP sockets (with a random delay), the first audio device to connect gets to be the 'default'.
- The context-sensitive help screens (represented by a '?') do not launch correctly in Microsoft browsers. They appear to have their own standard of Javscript, and don't play by the published spec. If you have this problem, we suggest trying Mozilla. It's free and it complies with the spec.
- Tagging songs is currently rather slow. Each song must have the tags rewritten, which is a slow process. Once the tags are written, importing is rather fast, though.
- Maintaining the order of songs within a disc is likely, but not guaranteed, to be correct. Once the importer supports the detection of the track number from the front of the song name (as in '01_Songname.mp3'), order will be maintained properly. When this is ready, a simple import operation will be the only action required to update the database.
- Display backlight control doesn't work.
- Organizing your music based on YEAR doesn't work yet. You may still import with YEAR in the repository pattern, but you won't be able to browse the tree by year.
